Carpet, construction & demolition waste

State law requires all loads be covered before transport.

Carpet and construction and demolition waste (excludes shingles if they are going to be recycled) are considered regular refuse/garbage. Check the Marathon County Solid Waste Department RATES & FEES.

Other options:

If you have doors, flooring, cabinets, windows, or other new or gently used building materials that you no longer want to keep, you can donate them to Habitat for Humanity to be resold to community members.  For more information, visit their site linked below or call them at 715-848-5042.
